Self-archiving refers to the practice of authors depositing a version of their research article in personal, institutional, or subject-specific repositories, or on their personal websites, allowing public access to the content.

  1. Permitted Versions for Archiving
  • Preprint Version before peer review: Allowed without restriction, provided a disclaimer is added stating it is unreviewed.
  • Postprint Peer-reviewed version before final typesetting: Allowed after acceptance, with clear citation of acceptance date and source.
  • Published Version (Version of Record) Final formatted article as published in the journal: Allowed after publication, with proper citation, DOI link, and Creative Commons license.
  1. Archiving Conditions
  • The original source must be clearly cited as Academic Forum Journal.
  • A direct link to the official published version on the journal’s website must be provided.
  • The license (CC BY 4.0) must be included with the archived version.
  • The final published version must not be modified or reformatted.

Authors are permitted to archive their articles on:
