The period leading up to the First World War had witnessed global historical events on the European scene affecting the external foreign policy in 1899, and their entry into the international race and competition, that compelled them to collide with the world's most powerful maritime States, that is Great Britain, which has also changed its political trajectory. This brings Britain to enter the international agreements to confront the Germans, all of which resulted in German-British maritime wars for the duration (1914-1918)
