Introduction to Publication Ethics

The Journal requires all submitted research to be conducted by the highest standards of ethical practice. Authors must ensure that their work complies with ethical principles, including informed consent, data protection, and the welfare of research subjects. Research involving human or animal subjects must have received prior approval from the appropriate ethical review boards.

Ethical Roles and Responsibilities

The Publisher

The publisher is committed to promoting and maintaining the integrity of the academic record. It ensures transparency, fairness, and confidentiality in all aspects of the publication process, and supports the Journal in handling allegations of Misconduct.

The Editor

The editor is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the Journal. This includes selecting appropriate reviewers, making unbiased decisions, maintaining confidentiality, and taking action in response to ethical concerns while avoiding conflicts of interest.

The Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in peer review. They are expected to provide objective, constructive feedback, treat manuscripts as confidential, declare conflicts of interest, and report suspected ethical violations to the editor.

The Authors

Authors must submit original work. They are responsible for accurately presenting their methodology and findings, citing sources appropriately, and disclosing conflicts of interest. Plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification are strictly prohibited.

Scientific Integrity and Handling Violations
Policy on Research Ethics
The Journal follows recognized international research ethics guidelines, including those of the Declaration of Helsinki and COPE. Authors must provide ethical approval details where required, and manuscripts that fail to meet ethical standards will be rejected.
Scientific Integrity
The Journal upholds the highest standards of scientific integrity. All published articles must be the result of honest inquiry and research. Any attempts to manipulate data or results will be treated as a serious form of Misconduct.
Procedures for Handling Violations
If ethical Misconduct is suspected or reported, the Journal will follow COPE's flowcharts and recommended procedures for investigation. This may involve requesting explanations from authors, contacting their institutions, and taking actions such as corrections, retractions, or bans on future submissions. All cases will be handled confidentially and fairly.
